Gilbert Phon, Au.D.

Dr. Gilbert Phon, Au.D. has 35 years of experience in the field of audiology, specializing in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, hearing aid dispensing and fitting and counseling social aspects of geriatrics. 

He has been in private practice for over 40 years and started The Audiology Center in 1980. Prior to that, he was Supervisor of Audiology, Department of Otolaryngology, at the Washington University School of Medicine. In addition, he was Clinical Instructor at the Central Institute for the Deaf during the same time period. From 1975-1977 he was a staff audiologist at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

From 1996-2008 he has been granted the “ACE” Award by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and in 1996 he was given the “Service to the Organization” award by the Speech-Language Hearing Association of the Greater St. Louis area.
